Welcome to The Design Studio. By accessing or using our website https://www.thedesignstudio.co, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Please read them carefully.

1. Website Use

You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

  • Attempt to breach security or hack our website
  • Copy or redistribute content without permission
  • Submit false or misleading information through forms

2. Intellectual Property

All materials on this site, including designs, graphics, logos, and copy, are owned or licensed by The Design Studio.
You may not use, reproduce, or distribute them without written consent.

3. Our Services

Every project is governed by its own written agreement, which sets out:

  • Scope of work
  • Deliverables
  • Revisions
  • Ownership: the intellectual property transfers to you after the final payment.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website. Liability for client work is set out in each project's written agreement. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes from the work we deliver.

5. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. EU and UK users are protected by their applicable data protection regulations.
Any legal dispute shall be handled in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small files stored on your device by the websites you visit.

2. The Cookies We Use

We use one kind of cookie: analytics cookies from Google Analytics, which tell us which pages are visited and how people move through the site, so we can see which pages help. They are set by Google (for example _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) and last up to 2 years.

We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.

If you visit from the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask first. A short banner asks whether you are OK with Google Analytics, and Google Analytics does not load unless you choose "Accept". If you choose "No thanks", it stays off. We remember your choice in your browser's local storage (not a cookie), so we do not ask again on that device.

If you visit from anywhere else, Google Analytics loads without a banner. We use Google Consent Mode, with advertising storage and personalization always turned off.

We also keep the campaign tags from the link you arrived on in your browser's session storage (not a cookie), so they can be sent with a form. They are deleted when you close the tab.

To keep our own visits out of our numbers, our team opens the site with ?tds_internal=1, which saves a note in that browser's local storage (not a cookie) so Google Analytics never loads there; ?tds_internal=0 removes it.

4. How to Manage Cookies

You can control or delete cookies from your browser settings. Clearing your browser's site data also clears your consent choice, and we will ask again.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics on any website using this tool.

Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

The Design Studio is the trading name of Devni Designs, a design and development studio based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

We act as the data controller for the personal data you share with us.

2. What Personal Data We Collect

We may collect:

  • Identification data: name, email address, business name, and your website address
  • What you tell us: the message or details you send through our forms
  • How you found us: the campaign tags in the link you arrived from (for example utm_source, or a Google Ads click ID), sent with your form so we know which page or ad brought you.
  • Your phone number, if you choose to give one, and whether you agreed to receive text messages.
  • Usage data, through Google Analytics and only as described in the Cookie Policy: pages visited, time spent, approximate location, device and browser
  • Technical data: our hosting provider records your IP address and browser in its server logs, to deliver and protect the site

We do not collect sensitive personal data (race, religion, health, etc.).

3. Lawful Basis for Processing

We process your data based on:

  • Consent: for the newsletter, and for Google Analytics where we ask for it
  • Contract: to deliver the services you request
  • Legal obligation: for tax, invoicing, etc.
  • Legitimate interest: answering your inquiry, keeping the site secure, and, outside the EU, UK and Switzerland, understanding how the site is used

4. How We Use Your Data

  • To reply to your inquiry or send your free 5-minute audit
  • To deliver project-related services
  • To send the newsletter, if you signed up for it
  • To analyze and improve the website

5. Data Retention

We retain your data:

  • As long as needed to fulfill your requests
  • For up to 3 years after your last interaction
  • Longer if required by law (e.g., tax or legal claims)

Newsletter subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe.

6. Data Sharing

We use these service providers, who process data on our behalf:

  • Vercel hosts the website and keeps server logs.
  • Resend sends the emails from our forms to us, and holds the newsletter list.
  • Google provides Google Analytics.

We may also share data with law enforcement or regulatory authorities, only if required by law. We never sell or rent your data.

7. International Transfers

Where our service providers process data outside the EU/EEA or the UK, for example in the US, they rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards under GDPR.

8. Your Rights (EU/UK Users)

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Erase your data ("Right to be Forgotten")
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Request data portability
  • Complain to your local data protection authority

9. Newsletter

We only send the newsletter if you sign up for it. You can unsubscribe at any time through the link in every email, or by emailing us.

10. Text Messages

If you tick the box to receive texts, we use your mobile number only to reply about your inquiry. We never sell or share mobile numbers or text consent with third parties for marketing. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.

11. Children

This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

12. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures, including:

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS) across the whole site
  • Access controls on the tools that hold your data
  • Keeping the site and our tools up to date

No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable care to protect your data.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. All changes will be posted on this page, and where required, we will seek renewed consent.
